What do you prefer to eat for lunch when you are at school? In the cafeteria at PHS, students have many options to choose from, or they can bring their own lunch. From a student perspective, some prefer to bring lunch rather than buy it, but others prefer to buy rather than bring it.  When interviewed, school cafeteria manager Anita Lacasse said “I love the students because they are so nice and have manners. I also love serving lunch to them, when they buy lunch the most bought item is French toast which is the most popular thing on the lunch menu.”

Students were surveyed on their lunch habits and preferences. Sixty percent indicated that they prefer to buy lunch rather than bring their own.

PHS Senior Summer Wright said “I prefer to bring my lunch rather than buy it.” “It's easier to bring lunch rather than buy lunch.”

Also, 57% stated that they feel satisfied with the school lunch menu and that it is somewhat healthy. The survey confirmed Lacasse’s comment about French Toast being most popular menu item.

Students have different opinions on how they get their lunch nor where it comes from.
